Vintage Deed Box with key

Reconditioned, stripped steel, deed box, with original working lock and key. Remnants of the original handwritten name/sign.

These boxes date from the early 1900s, and would have been used for the safe-keeping of important documents - and usually kept with solicitors or banks.
