CHRISTMAS DELIVERIES 

Please note - the last shipping day for Royal Mail Standard Delivery items is Tuesday 20th December. 

The cut-off time for orders placed, for guaranteed next day couriered delivery, is Wednesday 21st December - for delivery on Thursday 22nd December
Our shop will be open up until 4pm on Christmas Eve. Our shop and offices will then be closed over the Christmas break - opening again as normal at 10am Tuesday 3rd January.

'Standard Item' Postage charge for standard items is £5.95 to mainland UK addresses only. 

 Standard Items should be received within 3 - 5 working days. All items will be dispatched on working days. Working days are - Monday to Friday (excludes Bank Holidays and Public Holidays).
'Heavier or Fragile Item'
Postage charge is £12.95 to mainland UK addresses only. If a product is a 'heavier item' it will be stated on the product page. 
Please note: All the following pricing applies to single address deliveries only:
  • You will only ever be charged either £5.95 or £12.95 for delivery. Unless it is a special order item, in which case there will be a bespoke delivery price.
  • You can order as many ‘standard delivery’ items as you like and you will only be charged £5.95.
  • Likewise, if your order contains one or more ‘heavier items’ as well as any ‘standard’ items, you will be charged £12.95
  • Smaller/lighter orders will be delivered by Royal Mail 0-1kg. Delivery available Monday - Saturday
  • Larger heavier orders will be delivered by courier (usually ANC) 1kg upwards, and will be delivered Monday- Friday only

Collection Only

Furniture/Mirrors/Fragile items are not available for nationwide delivery (unless previously arranged) and must be collected from our shops in Hampton Hill, within a stated time, that will be discussed with you at the time of purchase (Local delivery is available - see below) If you are interested in any of these items, please contact us as soon as possible and we will advise you on payment and collection, or if applicable, local delivery information.We cannot and will not be held responsible for incorrect or incomplete addresses given at checkout. 
Courier/Third Party Collections and Deliveries from our shops.
Any orders that are to be collected/delivered by couriers or third parties, arranged by the customer, are done so entirely at the customer's risk.Once the order has been collected and has left our premises, the order will no longer be insured by us. Therefore it is essential that you have checked that either you (the customer) or the courier (third party) collecting has adequate insurance, to cover the cost of the order  and any damages or loss. We cannot and will not be held responsible for any loss or damage whilst en route to it's destination, or in the possession of the courier/third party that has collected received the goods. All items will be checked by us, before handing over to any third parties.
Courier Deliveries
In regard to any deliveries arranged by us with a courier; if for any reason there is no one there to accept the arranged delivery, within the agreed time, and a second delivery has to be rescheduled, we will have to pass on to you, the charge for the second delivery. Any items over 1kg will be delivered by courier (as opposed to Royal Mail) and they will be delivered  Monday-Friday only. 
Reserved Items
We can only reserve items for 48 hours, between Monday & Friday. We do not reserve items over a weekend.

Local Delivery

  • We will deliver locally, at our discretion, usually within a radius of approxomately 10 miles of our shops.
  • We occasionally deliver to addresses further out, but only on certain pre-arranged days
  • Pricing depends on what item is being delivered, and when & where it is going.

'Standard items' in stock, at time of ordering, should be received within 3 - 5 working days. All items will be dispatched on working days. This will be stated in the particular product information.We cannot and will not be held responsible for incorrect or incomplete addresses given at checkout.If an item is out of stock, you will be contacted with an estimated delivery date by email as soon as possible.Any time or date stated for delivery, is an estimate only. We make every effort to despatch goods on time, but do not accept liability for failure to deliver within the stated time.
Please note, that some items are made to order and have a longer delivery time. In these cases, this is specified within the product information.The customer has to accept the goods when they are ready for delivery. All packages must be signed for, please take this into consideration when choosing your delivery address. Delivery is deemed to take place when the goods are delivered to the Customer’s nominated address, whereupon the risk of loss, breakage and all damage and all other risks shall pass to the Customer. If the customer cannot accept delivery, attic will either:
  • Re-arrange delivery and charge the Customer for the additional delivery costs incurred.
  • Store and insure the goods at the Customer’s expense and risk.
  • Sell the goods at the best price, reasonably obtainable and (after deducting reasonable storage insurance and selling costs) pay to the Customer any excess over the sale price or charge the Customer for any shortfall

International deliveries

At present, we are only shipping orders automatically within mainland UK. If you live outside of mainland UK and you wish to order any items, once you have placed an order on this site you will receive confirmation that you will be contacted to discuss shipping and payment options.For any orders placed outside of the UK, or for shipping outside of the UK, we cannot be responsible for any charges relating to any taxes or import duties that may occur on deliveries to countries other than the UK. Responsibility lies with the customer, to ascertain what, if any extra charges there may be.

Returns

In the (hopefully) unlikely event that you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we realise there may be certain occasions that you wish to return them.

Online Purchases

Goods may be returned (to our Hampton Hill address) within 14 days of the date of purchase, provided that the goods are in their original packaging, and they are in the same saleable condition, in which you received them. Once the goods have been received back in said condition, a full refund will be given, minus the original postage costs. The return postage costs will be borne by the customer. Please note, any items returned to us for a refund must be packaged accordingly, so that they arrive with us undamaged & in their original condition. Failure to comply with this, may result in your refund being refused. We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost, during transit. With that in mind, we recommend all packages are sent recorded with insurance.

In-store Purchases

Goods may be returned to our shops, in Hampton Hill within 28 days of the date of purchase, (this does not include Furniture Mirrors or Lighting) with the original receipt. Provided that the goods are in their original packaging, and they are in the same saleable condition in which you received them. Once the goods have been received back in said condition, a credit note will be issued, or they can be exchanged for goods of the same value. This does not effect your statutory rights.Please note that sale items are the exception to this. There are no returns or exchanges on sale items. All sale items are sold as seen.

VIntage and Antique Pieces

All Vintage/Antique pieces are sold as seen, and cannot be returned. In certain circumstances, in the case of undisclosed or unforeseen faults or damage, if we are informed within 28 days of purchase - and only if the item is deemed to be faulty or not as described - we will offer a credit note on return of the item on an agreed date.
