Antique Correspondence Box (with keys)

Early steel correspondence box.

Contains one interior 'secret' storage compartment (within the lid) with original working lock. It has the original external working lock and key. It also has the most fabulous pale blue original paint in the inside. These boxes would have been in travelling dignitaries rooms, to safely store paraphernalia for their correspondence.
