Antique Deed Box with Brass Handle

Antique, reconditioned, stripped steel, deed box. Lovely earlier larger example with brass handle on the top. No key.

These boxes date from the early 1900s, and would have been used for the safe-keeping of important documents - and usually kept with solicitors or banks.
