Antique Correspondance Box

Great example of an early gentleman's correspondance box.

Contains one interior storage shelf/tray for papers and envelopes pens, that can be removed. (Please note there is no main external key)

These boxes would have been in travelling dignitaries rooms, to safely store paraphernalia for their correspondence.
