Military Chest Of Drawers

A really unusual piece - an original bit of upcycling!

Made way before upcycling as a term was even known or understood. This vintage chest of drawers, was made from recycled Grenade crates. Probably dated around the 1920s. Most of the panels that make up this piece have 'GRENADES' stencilled on the woodwork, and the imprint of the outline of the base of the grenades is on a couple of the drawers. Cast iron decorative handles. It has four drawers and a lidded/hinged top - storage section. A real MANtique!!

Repainted in-house, using Grand Illusions Noire Paint, available from us here.......http://discoverattic.com/collections/paint

Circa approx 1920's.
