Vintage Steel Document Box

Unusual, 'flat' reconditioned, stripped steel, document or deed box. Rare, example considering it's shape. No key. Handle on either side. Takes A4 paper easily.

These boxes date from the early 1900s, and would have been used for the safe-keeping of important documents - and usually kept with solicitors or banks.
